Allied Universal Partners with Community-Based Organizations to Build Career Opportunities and Support Local Initiatives

Security Industry’s Top Employer to Hire More Than 50,000 Employees by Year’s End

Santa Ana, Calif., and Conshohocken, Pa., August 30, 2017—Allied Universal, the largest security company in North America, today announced the launch of Partners in Employment (PIE), a grassroots referral program that partners with local community-based organizations to share employment opportunities, while supporting their fundraising initiatives. The goal of the program is to assist with the company’s major recruitment drive of hiring more than 50,000 full- and part-time employees by the end of 2017.

Allied Universal will be working with veterans’ groups, faith-based congregations, senior organizations, and higher education institutions. Organizations that refer their members will receive a $400 contribution for every employee hired.

“Our relationships with our employees, clients and the communities we serve are at the heart of everything we do, each and every day,” said Steve Jones, CEO, Allied Universal. “Our PIE program is a win-win because it supports our ambitious hiring goals, while giving community members multi-faceted career paths and helping to support their organizations’ initiatives through our referral program.”

Over the next two months, Allied Universal will hold recruitment drives in more than 25 locations nationwide. Several upcoming drives include:
