Chris Rice, U.S. Army Veteran, Allied Universal Account Manager

For Chris Rice, joining the U.S. Army was always his path. The military way of life was all he knew as his father, great-grandfather and great (great) grandfather were all veterans. His father was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served on the USS Culpeper where his mission was to eliminate U-boat attacks in the Atlantic Ocean. His great grandfather was with the Union Army in the Civil War and was captured and imprisoned twice and his great (great) grandfather was captured by the Indians in 1704 during the Queens Anne’s War in the famous Deerfield Raids.

Throughout Chris’ 22-year military career, he served 16 years in the Ranger Community both in the 75th Ranger Regiment and as a Ranger Instructor with the 6th Ranger Training Battalion. He also served as a Non-Commissioned and Commissioned Officer. He has been deployed seven times for combat for Operation Just Cause (Panama), Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq).

Working at Allied Universal is the ideal job for Chris. As an Account Manager, he currently provides assistance to his branch and area managers with the ultimate goal to help grow the company.

“Allied Universal is the perfect job for veterans since the skills we learned in the military such as leadership, discipline, respect, honesty, integrity and professionalism can be used on a daily basis and those traits are exactly what Allied Universal is looking for when hiring personnel,” said Chris. “These qualities are necessary to be able to support Allied Universal’s core values.”

Chris is currently a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the 75th Ranger Regiment Association.
