Security Shift Supervisor

Air Force

Structure and discipline is what Elizabeth Core remembers about her upbringing. The oldest of eight siblings, she definitely didn’t fear anything. So when her best friend joined the Air Force, she decided, after thorough research, to enlist. She has never regretted this decision a day in her life.

For most of her 26-year career in the military, she was stationed at Andrew Joint Base in Washington, DC. The military afforded her the opportunity to meet and greet with President Clinton, march in President Bush’s inaugural parade and receive a personally addressed letter from President Obama. She was awarded the National Defense Service Medal (with a Star), Air Force Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and an Outstanding Unit Award.

The Air Force gave her a vast skill set which includes executive management, time management, conflict management and budget allocation. Since 2018, she has been working as a Shift Supervisor for one of Allied Universal’s top clients.

“I decided to work for Allied Universal because the company has a large footprint in the national security industry,” said Elizabeth. “I hope to have the opportunity to share my education and knowledge gained through my diverse experiences, be allowed to advance through the management structure and contribute to the company’s global presence.”
