Unresponsive Passenger at JFK Airport Saved by Security Professional

While working her shift at JFK Airport, Security Professional Stephenson was contacted by an airline employee who found a passenger unresponsive. Security Professional Stephenson responded immediately and notified the authorities. After assessing the situation, she utilized the nearest AED on the unresponsive passenger, followed by CPR chest compressions until EMS arrived. When EMS arrived, they transported the victim to the nearest hospital for treatment. We commend Security Professional Stephenson for her swift and decisive actions that ultimately saved the passenger’s life.

Scott and Seth Keep Skyscraper Safe

Seth, a three-year-old black Labrador, and his handler, Scott, a retired NYPD sergeant, are a highly-trained MSA Security explosive detection canine team that works to keep a 20-story office building in Manhattan safe. Their job requires quite a bit of footwork, sweeping incoming vehicle deliveries, unattended bags and areas far and wide in a building that spans nearly an entire city block. He’s been on the job for only a few months, but Seth keeps his nose buried in his work.

Security Professionals Part of Cruise Line Emergency Deployment Following Baltimore Bridge Collapse

The collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge on March 26 forced a popular cruise line to reroute a ship to pick up passengers. Allied Universal quickly deployed 28 security professionals via chartered bus from Baltimore to Port Norfolk to meet the ship and screen boarding passengers. The team searched the last known location — a retail store — and provided CCTV footage to the Seattle Police Department within minutes. Las Vegas Security Professional Saves Overdose Victim with CPR Intervention

Las Vegas Security Professional Gilbert recently responded to a critical situation near the Red Dragon Casino, where he discovered an individual in distress, unresponsive and showing signs of overdose. Security Professional Gilbert immediately dialed 911 and began administering CPR chest compressions. He was able to sustain the individual's breathing until the fire department arrived, at which time emergency responders took over and transported the individual to the hospital for further care.
